William Hodges Mann and his wife Etta write to his nephew Col. James Mann and his wife Nellie thanking him for his campaign assistance in the 1909 gubernatorial election in which he defeated Henry St. George Tucker on a prohibition platform. The invitation from the governor and Mrs. Mann concerns a meeting with the governors of the several states on 5 December 1912 at the Executive Mansion.
